San Miguel Beermen flaunted its championship form as it blew past the TNT KaTropa, 96-86, in the Game 3 of the 2019 PBA Philippine Cup quarterfinals on Wednesday night at the Smart-Araneta Coliseum.

The Beermen came out with guns blazing while also delivering on the defensive end of the floor as they zoomed to an early lead and never looked back to close out the best-of-three series in their favor, two games to one.

As a result, the reigning four-time All-Filipino champions punched their semifinals ticket, setting up a best-of-seven showdown with the top seed Phoenix Fuel Masters.

June Mar Fajardo went off with a 32-point explosion on a perfect 11-of-11 shooting from the field with 14 rebounds. Christian Standhardinger dropped 17 points and nine rebounds along with two assists and two steals, while Terrence Romeo added 11 points and four assists in the win.

With an early offensive explosion, the Beermen build a 25-10 first-quarter advantage and were hardly threatened as the lead went as high as 26 points.
