Barangay Ginebra eased past the NLEX Road Warriors for a 100-85 win in the 2019 PBA Commissioner’s Cup at the Batangas City Sports Coliseum Sunday night.
Coming through with a strong third-quarter performance,the Gin Kings established a lead that went as much as 27 points, 76-49, coasting to the lopsided win.

Justin Brownlee led all scorers with 37 points along with eight rebounds, seven assists, and five steals. Stanley Pringle had an impressive debut as he provided 16 points, eight rebounds, three assists, and two steals in nearly 36 minutes as a starter, while LA Tenorio and Greg Slaughter added 11 and 10 markers, respectively.
The Road Warriors, meanwhile, who finally ended a winless streak against Meralco four days ago, failed to continue their winning ways as they dropped to 1-7.
Poy Erram paced the losing side with 20 points and 14 boards, as import Tony Mitchell was held to just 17 points.
