Columbian Dyip regained its winning ways, toppling the Blackwater Elite, 102-90, in the 2019 PBA Governors’ Cup on Friday at the Mall of Asia Arena in Pasay.

With the wire-to-wire victory, the Dyip are up to 3-2 in the team standings, while Blackwater fell to 1-3.

Led by Rashawn McCarthy who exploded for 25 points built around seven triples, Columbian zoomed to a double-digit lead early and never looked back, leading by as much as 97-82, with over three minutes left to play.

Khapri Alston wound up with 24 points and 20 rebounds, CJ Perez chipped in 24 points, 10 rebounds, and six assists, while Reden Celda came off the bench and delivered 12 markers.

Aaron Fuller, who finally saw action after replacing Marqus Blakely, had a game-high 26 points on top of 10 rebounds while Ray Parks scored 21 points but only on a 6-for-20 field shooting to go with seven turnovers.
