When San Miguel waived its rights to Gary David during the offseason, Gary has already pictured himself playing for other leagues outside PBA like the Asean Basketball League.
But in one unexpected instant, he got a call from a PBA team that is Mahindra Floodbuster, asking for him to sign with the team.
And Gary David couldn’t be happier with the trust the Mahindra management has put on him.

Best known for leading the now defunct Powerade team in a cinderella run four years ago, the Dinalupihan, Bataan native is expected to provide additional firepower and veteran leadership for the young Mahindra squad, which just sustained a 22-point beatdown from the Batang Pier last week.
The 38-year old shooting guard is set to debut in Mahindra jersey on today’s opening game versus the E-Painters.
